This restoration began the right way: by separating the Airstream’s body from the chassis so every structural component could be accessed, evaluated, and rebuilt from the ground up. Once the shell was lifted, the trailer was stripped down to its bare frame, allowing the restoration team to inspect every inch of the foundation that supports the coach. The frame was cleaned, repaired, reinforced where needed, and restored to like-new condition so the project would have a solid base for the years ahead. From there, the undercarriage was rebuilt piece by piece, including the suspension, braking components, and other critical structural elements that are often hidden from view but essential to the safety and longevity of the trailer. Any worn, tired, or outdated materials beneath the coach were removed and replaced so the Land Yacht would not only look incredible, but perform the way a fully renewed Airstream should.

With the foundation restored, the rebuild continued from the bottom up. The subfloor and support structure were renewed, utility systems were updated, and the trailer was carefully reassembled with a focus on both craftsmanship and durability. Every stage of the restoration was approached with the goal of preserving the timeless character of the original Airstream while giving it an entirely new life underneath. The result is far more than a cosmetic facelift. It is a true frame-off restoration that transformed this vintage trailer into a structurally renewed, beautifully reimagined luxury coach with the feel of something brand new.
